Delivery

 

All of our products are handmade, and some are handmade to order. Whilst we do our upmost to keep our shop full of lovely items to purchase, sometimes we may need a little more time to top up ready to purchase items. If something you want to purchase is listed as out of stock, please do not hesitate to get in touch by emailing emily@friddyathome.com or starting a chat with us on the messenger popup (a Facebook login is not required for this, you can chat to us as a guest user without inputting any login details).

 

Dispatch time

For any ready to purchase items you buy, please expect these to be packaged and posted within 4 working days of placing an order with us. You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has been posted.

 

If you have ordered a custom item from us, please allow 14 days from the date you placed your order for us to create and dispatch your item. You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your item has been posted. If, for whatever reason, we expect your order to take longer than 14 days to be dispatched, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know.

 

Couriers, postage charges and packaging materials

Our main method of shipping is via Royal Mail.

We aim to keep our postage charges as low as possible and do not make any profit on such charges. Any shipping charge to you covers the amount we pay to Royal Mail and the charge for the compostable mailing bag usually used to send your items to you. Whilst not the very cheapest of couriers or mailing bags, we hope you understand the importance of a quick and reliable delivery service, and an environmentally friendly way to get your lovely order to you.
 

On the odd occasion, we may send out your order by an alternative courier such as Parcelforce, and in a larger, re-used and 100% recyclable mailing bag. This is if you order lots of goodies from us and this method of shipping is the most economical. We will, however, always let you know if we plan to use anyone other than Royal Mail.
 

We hope everything reaches you in a timely way, but unfortunately cannot control or take responsibility for any courier delays or delays caused by the weather once your parcel has left our hands. If your order is slow to get to you, or becomes lost or damaged in transit, please email us at emily@friddyathome.com
